The space party begins! "Star Tales" is an explosive cosmic journey through spectacular new sounds and feelings. From the hyperspeed power metal hymns "Eclipse" and "Vortex 3003" to the space melancholy of "The Hill of Hope" and "Mission Butterfly", "Star Tales" is an audio adventure that challenges and stimulates the listeners' imagination.
"Star Tales" is the debut Dol Ammad album and was released on the 30th of November 2004 by Black Lotus Records. It features a 12 member classical choir together with a metal rhythm section including drummer Alex Holzwarth (Rhapsody of Fire, Sieges Even) whose input for the album was recorded in Sascha Paeth's Gate Studio (Avantasia, Epica) in Germany.
With Black Lotus Records going bankrupt in 2006, the rights of "Star Tales" have returned back to Dol Ammad as has the remaining stock which is now available through ElectronicARTmetal Records.
"Star Tales" is released in a high quality digipack format including a 20-page booklet printed on a special glossy film paper.
